You're in luck!  We have developed the original Bottle Whisk that will fit in your jar.  It is the perfect tool when feeding you starter for making sure all of that flour is mixed in.  

Beautifully crafted out of American hardwoods (Walnut, Maple, or Cherry), copper, and stainless steel.  These are handmade in the USA by our team at Barlow & Co.

Care Instructions:

  • Hand wash only with soap and warm water
  • If necessary, revitalize the finish on your handle with food-grade oil
  • If you want to bring out the shine of the copper, use a Scotch-Brite pad or steel wool

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Should I get the Baby Hook or the Bottle Whisk?  Both! Just kidding...kinda.  We originally created these to have the perfect mixing tool for our starter jars.  After coming up with both designs, they are each great at their own things.  The Bottle Whisk excels at mixing starter in your jar.  While the Baby Hook is also great for starter, it is awesome for small batch mixing where our Dough Hook might be a bit overkill.  Asking us to pick one is like asking someone to pick their favorite child.

One of the best inventions ever!

I was at the Pinners Conference and saw the ease of using a Bottle Whisk and decided to buy one for our home. My daughter and I love how having it for our starter!!! Hands down one of the best inventions! We are able to it easily mix and scrape the edges of the jar and make sure that we get everything mixed properly. We used to struggle with a regular whisk, spoon, butter knife, and many other tools that we’ve tried. This is for sure a game changer. We are able to whisk and mix everything a lot faster and better. Definitely great quality and price. I will be adding more of their tools to my collection. I would for sure recommend buying one.
